Olga Weider Earns Certified Internal Auditor Designation!

Bradenton/Sarasota, FL ­– Olga Weider, an accountant with Christopher, Smith, Leonard, Bristow & Stanell has recently been named as a Certified Internal Auditor by the Institute of Internal Auditors. The CIA designation is awarded to internal audit professionals who have met the rigorous requirements of the IIA’s CIA program, including a four-part examination, as well as high standards of character, education, and experience.

Mrs. Weider is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a degree in Accounting.  Mrs. Weider has been involved with the audits of various not-for-profit audits which include 501(c)(3) organizations.

Mrs. Weider currently services on the Finance Committee for the Board of Directors of the Manatee County Humane Society. Mrs. Weider has served as Vice President of the University of South Florida Accounting Society and is associated with a Tax Assistance Volunteer program benefiting low-income families.

Administered twice each year in multiple languages, the CIA exam was given in November to 2007 to over 36,000 candidates in 96 countries around the world. The CIA exam reflects the current state of the art in internal auditing and evaluates technical competence in important subject areas related to internal auditing standards.
