Mr. Leonard currently serves
as the firm’s information technology principal and
as principal-in-charge of accounting and auditing. Mr. Leonard
is experienced in providing accounting, auditing, income
tax and consulting services to a wide variety of clients.
Mr.
Leonard started with Christopher, Smith, Leonard, Bristow & Stanell,
P.A. in 1979. Before beginning his career with CS&L,
Mr. Leonard worked for a national accounting firm in Tampa.
He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree
with honors from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton.
Mr.
Leonard is a member of the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of Certified
Public Accountants (FICPA). Mr. Leonard has been active with
FICPA committees for over twenty years including being chairperson
of several committees including the Committee on Accounting
Principles and Auditing Standards. Past committee service
also includes the FICPA Technology Committee. Mr. Leonard
received the Certificate of Educational Achievement from
the AICPA for Tax Planning and Advising for Closely Held
Businesses.
